Brian Madigan’s Story of Change and Growth
Brian Madigan is a Life Path Mentor because he wants to help others develop something he had at an early age. He describes it as an "absolute confidence that whatever is happening, it's happening for a reason.”
Embarking on a career in IT as a teenager, Brian also began a lifelong exploration of spirit. He attained a BSc in computer science and a director-level role in a large corporation. At the same time, he nourished his spiritual curiosity, exploring different traditions.
Eventually, he admitted to himself that the IT work was unfulfilling. “While I was reasonably happy in my career, I knew I could be doing more. I wanted the support and development that I was offering my staff to be the focus of my work, rather than just part of being a good manager” he says.
In the 1990s, he began studying and practicing Reiki and Shiatsu – energy work that unblocks the body and allows healing to begin. He also mastered NLP, (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) a series of techniques that help release old hidden beliefs. It was his discovery of Ifa that gave him the strength to make the final leap into his new life as a Life Path Mentor.
At the heart of his practice is the spiritual and practical guidance he offers as a Life Path Mentor. Energy work and NLP are tools that help his clients pursue their Life Path more freely, but are not a requirement of working with Brian.
“All of these methods are very adaptable, no matter what your faith. None of it asks people to give up what they know." Brian's contagious enthusiasm puts first-timers at ease, but it's the accuracy of insight that earns his clients' trust and helps them create change and growth.
